Bedtime can feel chaotic with little kids, so we try to keep our evening routine simple, calm, and predictable. These are the small things that have helped make our nights feel much more relaxed with a 5 & 3 year old.

We’ve found that having the same rhythm each night really helps everyone wind down and know what’s coming next.

📖 Story Time Together

One of our favourite parts of the night is slowing down for story time together.

Even if the day has been busy, reading a few books together helps everyone reconnect before bed and creates a calm transition into sleep.

After books, we brush teeth, head to the bathroom, and get everyone ready for bed.
